| Potassium Permanganate is the choice for treating Trichodina now because salt is no longer effective in killing Trich.
Trichodina will also cause flashing in fish. It is most commonly found on fish coming out of mud ponds. It is also found in dirty ponds, ponds that have been allowed to build up "stuff" on the bottom of the pond.
